The following are some templates you can use to create a poster. Templates can be useful in the sense that will save you time organizing details like the width of column in your poster.
The templates provided below come in a variety of different sizes and orientations.
The DBS logo should be attached to each poster you create in DBS. The logo is attached here.It can be adjusted to suit the particular requirements of your poster.
These templates can be altered to include different colours, fonts, layouts, animations and recording.
The templates listed on this page were used creating PowerPoint. There are other software programs that you can use to create a poster. These include Quark Xpress, Adobe Indesign, Adobe Illustrator or MS Publisher. It would be advantageous to use these packages for large posters and where high resolution screen output is required (Nuigalway,2017). However PowerPoint templates are provided in this guide on the basis that most students have access to them in the college and students are reasonably familiar with using the software.
