How to use the live chat:
1. To use the Chat, go to library.dbs.ie and find the Chat With an Expert option below.
2. After clicking on Chat With an Expert, you will be asked to verify your identification through providing your student number.
3. After providing your student number, a verification email will be sent to your student email.
4. Through the verification email, you will be connected to a member of the library team.

Having trouble renewing or accessing your library account online?
Our library account system is currently undergoing some issues. If you need to renew your books you can: renew in the library, via email (library@dbs.ie), or on the library chat! We cannot renew books through instagram.

Our catalogue is down tomorrow June 16th for updates. You won't be able to search the catalogue or check out books tomorrow so make sure to do that today! You can still return books to the library or the book drops in Aungier Street and Castle House but all renewals and returns will be processed on Friday.
All our online journals and databases will be up and running as usual.
