I know it’s only November, but we’re now halfway through the semester which means exams are closer than you think. If you’ve realized that already, you may have been poking around the DBS site, looking for past exam papers to help you start studying.

Past exam papers are posted online and are very easy to find. Here’s how:
Method 1: Directly through Moodle
On your Moodle Module Dashboard, you should see a quick link in the right-hand sidebar that says “Exam Papers.”
Method 2: Library Website
Start from the library homepage. Under “Resources,” on the top menu, you should see “Past Exam Papers.” Here you will find links to different exam papers separated by subject.

All previous exam papers since 2008 are included here, so if you can’t find papers for your class there are a few possible reasons why. First, the module you’re taking may be new or may not have previously had exams. You can confirm this with your lecturer. Second, not all modules run every semester, so you may need to check a different semester or a different year to find past exams. And remember, solutions are not provided for these exams, just the questions.
As exams approach, the library wants to hear from you! Do you have any questions about the new closed book exams? Do you have any study tips you want to share? Let me know at kristyn.leonard@dbs.ie.
