Purpose of the Award
The primary objective of this award is to foster and incentivize postgraduate applied research within institutions of higher education in Ireland.
Award Announcement
The conferral of the award shall be publicized annually during a designated journal launch event.
Award Selection
The selection of the award recipient will be determined by a member of the journal's advisory board.
Award Eligibility Criteria
- At the time of submission, it is mandatory that at least one of the contributing authors be actively enrolled in a postgraduate program within Ireland or have graduated from one in the last 12 months.
- Prospective award candidates are required to formally notify the editorial team of their intent to be considered for the award at the time of article submission.
- A limit of one submission per author, per award cycle, is enforced.
- To qualify for consideration, submissions must adhere to the definition of a research article as stipulated by the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).
- The winning author shall remain ineligible for award consideration for a duration encompassing three journal volumes.
- Award winners must agree to the publication of their name(s), picture on the journal website and on the journal's social media account.
- Prospective award candidates 'from outside the college may be asked for contact details of academic reference.
Award Disbursement
- The award recipient will be presented with a One4all voucher, valued at 250 euro.
- The award recipient must be in Ireland at the time of the award ceremony.
- The award recipient shall be awarded a digital prize badge.
