  • Copyright for Researchers: This guide examines  what copyright is, why it matters, how it relates to publishing your work in an academic journal and in a repository and how to respect copyright when conducting your own research.
  • DBS Library Press: This guide brings together all information about DBS Library Press and the journal in one place.
  • General Research Supports: In this guide we look at all supports available to researchers in DBS.
  • Publication and Impact: In this guide, we are going to look at publication and impact . The guides discuss creating research profiles, explain different types of metrics (journal, article and alternative) and provide guidance on which journal to publish in.
  • DBS institutional repository (eSource) This guide brings together all information about DBS eSource. It includes information on searching eSource and staff/student submissions.

Publishing with DBS

The DBS Applied Research and Theory Journal is an international open access journal that accepts submissions from researchers, students, and practitioners both within the DBS community and externally from all disciplines.

Check out our DBS Library Press Guide to learn more about how to get your work published.

If you would like to see all issues of the journal, visit the DBS Applied Research Journal website.

DBS repository

The DBS Institutional Repository (eSource) hosts articles, final-year projects, theses, conference papers, book chapters and more, all produced by DBS staff and students. Having your work available and easily accessible online is a great way to elevate your academic and professional profile.

The library highly encourages staff submissions, and all information on our guides and polices can be found on our eSource guide
