Poster Templates

We live in a time where we have fantastic resources and tools available to us for creating striking and informative posters. Services like Canva, PowerPoint, and more have templates you can use towards creating your poster. The key to making your poster stand-out, however, is making sure to make alterations to the template to make sure you put your stamp on it. Change some colours and shapes, choose a font you like (while keeping in mind accessibility fonts are important), make or find images that pertain to your topic to add a flare of imagery for those who are going to read your poster. You have access to PowerPoint for free as a DBS student and the free version of Canva has various templates for poster design.

You can also search designs in Canva. Try typing in Poster - research posters will likely have a good template you can work with.
