Searching the Databases

What are databases?

A database is a collection of high-quality journal articles, business information, newspapers, trade publications, standards and conference papers.

There are discipline-specific and multidisciplinary databases available on the library website, accessible with your Moodle username and password.

Their are several ways users can search the databases. These include searching individual databases, using the discovery search box on the library homepage to search multiple databases at once or filtering databases in the A-Z list to see those relate to your subject.

Students at DBS are encouraged to use these resources for coursework, with marks allocated for utilizing them effectively. All databases are free to use, providing a valuable resource for research and academic work.
