Please note, however, that it is still your responsibility to engage the information produced by ChatGPT critically and to make sure the work you produce is entirely your own. A rule of thumb: GenAI can be a great start and a terrible end for any assignment. In other words, use it as a jumping off point, but not as a final product.
Note that when you use GenAI to help you identify a topic for your assignment or dissertation, what it produces should not be your final topic or research questions. Again, this is only useful as a jumping off point to help you get some motivation and momentum on your research.
