Information Literacy: Home

According to SCONUL (2011), information literacy can be defined as the ability to demonstrate an awareness of how you gather, use, manage, synthesise and create information and data in an ethical and effective manner.

The Library has written and adopted an information literacy vision in line with developments in the Higher Education sector which states "all graduates will possess cutting edge information literacy competencies and skills to achieve success in an academic environment, in the workplace and for life-long learning" (DBS, 2018).
