DBS provides access to a wide range of databases, and journals related to marketing.
Keep your first search simple
Articles can be found by entering the article title into the search box.
Put the exact title of the article in inverted commas (" ") to ensure better results.
If this does not work, then search for the name of the whole Journal instead e.g. "Journal of Marketing". Use the year and volume number to locate the specific article.
Useful filters to consider to narrow your search include peer reviewed, date, language and format filters.
WARC (World Advertising Research Centre) is a leading source of information relating to global marketing, media, advertising and consumer research. It provides access to articles, case studies, statistics and reports.
All your important marketing databases can be found here.
All your important marketing journals can be found either on the Publication Finder or individual marketing databases
Marketing databases contain a range of resources including journal articles, industry reports, market research reports, case studies, advertising and consumer research.
Marketing journals can provide the most current information on a topic. Journals can be differentiated in terms of peer and non peer reviewed journals. The peer review filter limits your results to peer review journals only.
For marketing Harvard referencing style is used. Advice on referencing journal articles can be found in our Harvard referencing guide.
