To borrow books
Once you have all the items you wish to borrow:
If you have any problems, please talk to one of the librarians at the desk.
To return books
Borrowed items can be returned:
If you are reading an eBook, you don't have to return them! When you read a book online you can use it as much as you want - no checkout or return required!
If you download a copy of the book, you will have 24 hours and then the book will not be accessible anymore until you download the book again.
To borrow DVD's
Borrowing one of our DVD's the same as checking out a print book!

The loan periods are: 3 days, 1 week and 2 weeks depending on the item.
When the books are in your possession it is your responsibility to return them on time and in the same condition. If books are missing/damaged please contact us immediately, we can then work with you to find a replacement.
Overdue Books
If you have overdue items, you won't be able to borrow any more items until they're returned.
The maximum renewal limit is 8 provided another reader does not require the item, in which case the item cannot be renewed.
Fines are charged for the late return of any overdue items and borrowing rights will be suspended when charges exceed €10. All items are subject to reservation by another borrower. Our fine rates are:
Overdue item: 60c per day
Fines incurred from overdue items will normally only be waived in line with the circumstances described in our library fines exceptions policy. If you feel your circumstances match those within the policy please contact us to discuss waiving fines.
